I Heart Faces {Self Portrait}

This weeks theme is {self portrait}. I have been so lucky to have so many talented friends and mentors throughout my beginnings into the photography world. The day this picture was taken we had rounded up a group of gals for a photo playdate in the sunflower field not to far from where I live. My friend Viv of Vivien VanLeeuwen Photography snapped this picture of me before we called it a night. You know how you are your own worst critic? This is one of the only pictures I have of myself that I absolutely love. After having two kids, who doesn't want to feel sexy every once in awhile? Plus, I had to show off my new red heels that I found a few days earlier at a consignment store for 6.00!!! So this goes out to you Viv. Thanks for giving me this one picture. You are truly talented at what you do.
